FIFTY YEARS OF SPANISH PHYSIOLOGY: NEGRÍNS LEGACY
XXXII Congress of the
Spanish Society of Physiological Sciences
International Joint Meeting with the Physiological
Society
Puerto de la Cruz,
Tenerife, 13-17 February 2003
We are
glad to extend a cordial invitation to you and your colleagues to attend the XXXII
Congress of the Spanish Society of Physiological Sciences (SECF) and
International Joint Meeting with the Physiological Society (PHYSOC) in
Tenerife, Canary Islands, February 13 – 17, 2003. This Meeting coincides with
the 50th anniversary of the first SECF Congress, and is being
organized in memory of Juan Negrn, a native of the Canary Islands who is
considered as one the founders of Spanish physiology. We hope that it will
provide an exceptional opportunity for physiologists from two different but
fraternal European countries to converge in a friendly place and exchange views
on physiology. You will also have the opportunity of enjoying the natural
beauty of Tenerife, the largest of the seven volcanic islands that make up the
Canaries, representing the most southerly point in Europe, which receives the
visit of numerous tourists all year round.
